Past Tense of Beat

V2 Past Simple

When we talk about a past event, that is, Past Simple Tense, we use the verb ‘beat’ with V2. V2 doesn’t change the verb’ beat‘, it is again used as ‘beat’. Since the verb ‘beat’ is one of the irregular verbs, in V2 the word doesn’t take a piece of jewelry, but in some irregular verbs, there is a different situation. Instead of completely changing, they can stay the same. Each subject has the same use, which makes learning easier. V3 Past Participle

The V3 version differs from the V2 version and is used as a ‘beaten’. ‘Beaten’ is used in the case of Past Perfect Tense or Present Perfect Tense. Of course, there are other uses.
